Children’s Ground has been established to end the cycle of intergenerational poverty and inequity in rural and remote Aboriginal communities in Australia.
Our approach is to work with every child, in every family, within a specified community, for twenty five years. Our focus is on social, cultural, educational, health and economic wellbeing. We build on a platform of both indigenous and Western cultures, and on the strengths that exist within every community. Community agency is fundamental to our work: we work to the aspirations of each community, and help communities help themselves, as they determine and specify.
